Our Story ~
In 2009, our founder, Laurena had her first of two softball “career” ending knee surgeries. Sports were no longer in the cards for her so she had to find another passion. She started singing, dancing, and taught herself how to do makeup.
Soon after, her friends and classmates {she was only in the 10th grade at this point} started asking her to do their prom makeup! This is the beginning to what would become Love By Laur.
Love By Laur was officially founded in the Spring of 2017 and grew from just a Special Event Hair + Makeup business to a blog, Youtube channel, and now a shop selling Mental Health related + Taylor Swift inspired stationary!
Laurena is now a wife, mama to Noah, entrepreneur, and creative trying to be as raw + authentic in her experiences in hopes that someone, somewhere can relate and know that they aren’t alone.
